We suggest that you spend the time to visit the different Grand Canyon bus tour companies on the Internet to see what they offer, the prices, refund policies, and reviews.

There are many different Grand Canyon bus tours that last from several hours to weeks. As you will see, Grand Canyon bus tours can range from simple bus tours that make stops at select destinations to the more adventurous bus, helicopter and rafting combination tours that take you into the bottom of the Grand Canyon.

How else can you experience the wonders of the Grand Canyon in 5 different ways? Believe it or not, there are Grand Canyon tours that last 7 hours and provide you the experience by bus, airplane, helicopter, boat, and the Skywalk.... all for less that $450 per person. You can probably find an Internet special and get the combination Grand Canyon tour for less than $350 per person!

We provide you with an overview of the bus trips and tours that are available and links where you can book the Grand Canyon bus tours that meet your needs.

Grand Canyon Bus Tours

Grand Canyon Bus ToursMost of the bus tours to the Grand Canyon originate in Las Vegas. The buses are typically air-conditioned luxury motorcoaches. Basic Grand Canyon bus tours leave Las Vegas by 7:00am. Some of the tour companies will pick you up at your hotel and provide you with a continental breakfast. Bus tours travel to the popular South Rim or the increasingly popular West Rim where you can experience the Skywalk. You will probably get a complimentary lunch at your destination and then a return trip to your hotel. The South Rim bus tours usually last 14 hours and cost around $160 per person. The West Rim bus tours are about 11 hours in length and cost about $160 per person. If you shop around, you can usually book bus tours on the Internet for $80 - $115 per person.

Grand Canyon Bus and Helicopter Tours

These Grand Canyon tours are similar to the bus tour, except that you get a 30 minute narrated helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon. If you have never been in a helicopter, this is definitely something you will enjoy! Of course adding a helicopter ride to your bus trip is going to add to the cost, but for only about $100 per person more, it might be worth considering! This combination tour is usually for the South Rim tour.

Grand Canyon Bus, Helicopter, and Boat Tour

Now this is combining all the Grand Canyon has to offer in one day long tour. Talk about something to tell your friends! These combination tours are offered at the West Rim. The tour includes a round trip bus ride from your Las Vegas hotel, to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon. You will then take an exciting helicopter ride to 4,000 feet down to the floor of the Grand Canyon. From there, you will have a fun, 20 minute pontoon boat ride down the Colorado River. The price of this combination tour is $340 per person, but you can usually find deals for around $280.

Some of the popular Grand Canyon tour companies that offer Grand Canyon bus and combination bus, helicopter and airplane tours are Pallion, Grand Canyon Tour Company, Las Vegas Grand Canyon Tour, and Grand Canyon Hotels and Tours.

If you aren't interested in traveling by bus, there are a lot of other options to see the Grand Canyon. Your other options include Grand Canyon airplane tours, helicopter tours, boat tours, rafting tours, Sport Utility Vehicles (SUV's), All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs), horseback tours, mule rides, and of course backpacking trips.
